Our speakers provided a very interesting presentation describing their consulting work with public servants in Trinidad. With the use of Appreciative Inquiry techniques, they were able to bring out latent interest in change and even the most negative of the listeners were persuaded there was value in taking on a re-engineering project. Not only was the presentation informative, it was also entertaining as John and Mike took CPSQA attendees through events in Trinidad showing pictures and describing the interactions with those participants and their reaction to the good ideas being offered by their consultants.
Note: CPSQA Directors had decided to try out a new format and venue for NCR Networking meetings. The meeting was held in Le Salon at the National Arts Centre and attendees were treated to a free hot buffet breakfast prior to the start of the meeting.
