CPSQA welcomed Marion Wright of the Canadian Mental Health Association who spoke most eloquently about healthy workplace and ways that we can try to ensure mental health are adequately treated. She emphasized the importance of getting the whole issue of mental health out from under the table where it could be treated like any other illness.
Those attending found the information shared by Marion both interesting and professionally challenging – recognizing the increasing number of cases of mental health issues in the workplace – faced by both managers and employees.
