Background: David Hutton is a seasoned quality practitioner and a successful author and consultant. A former Vice President of Mitel, he has specialized since 1990 in the assessment process as a method of driving organizational improvement and change. His books include a best-seller from ASQ Quality Press “The Change Agents’ Handbook”, and the recently published title “From Baldrige to the Bottom Line”.

David’s presentation focused on the assessment process as a highly effective method of driving organizational improvement and change. David shared some of his insights from more than a decade of consulting in this field, including the government-wide implementation of quality assessments within the Ontario Public Service. This was also an opportunity to obtain a signed copy of one of David’s books.
