Subject: “An Example”
Presentation: Not available
Speaker: Rob Taylor, Quality Service Advisor, Corporate Services Branch, Revenue Canada
Rob spoke about his travels along the quality road and specifically about his experience with ISO 9000. This was but one example of a structured approach to Quality designed to provide the basis for a Quality Management System that would provide the framework within which continuous improvement could take place.
The CPSQA Monthly Quality Conference is an updating and sharing session for local, provincial & federal levels of the public sector. Its purpose is to bring together practitioners of the quality orientation from all levels of government to provide a forum where best practices and experiences can be shared and discussed. We believe that the meetings will be of benefit to those that are new to the world of quality as well as to current practitioners. We encourage the meetings to be as interactive as possible.
The CPSQA believes that there are many effective and efficient activities in the public sector. We believe that much of this work is done in isolation and there is very little opportunity for a regular sharing of best practices and lessons learned. We hope that by providing this forum, practitioners can get together and share their ideas and experiences leading to a further strengthening of quality practices throughout the public service.
