All areas of the Canadian Public Sector are undergoing significant transformation in order to adjust to, and anticipate, economic challenges, fiscal pressures, stakeholder demands and the expectations of citizens. Transformation is not new, but transformation now goes beyond “doing more with less” and includes doing things differently and exploring innovation, new tools and new ways of working.
In order for transformation to be successful and sustainable over the medium to long term, organizations need to embrace organizational excellence. What does this mean and how can excellence still be ensured when trying new methods?
The Canadian Public Sector Excellence Network is continuing our tradition of public service excellence by developing the program for our annual Fair around the theme; Organizational Excellence and Transformation.
Join us to hear stories of organizations’ journeys of change and how they embraced excellence. Through key-note speakers, a series of Professional Development Sessions, and exhibitors, learn how organizations applied new tools and ways of working to transform, and how they are now excelling. The Fair will also provide you with opportunities to interact, learn and network with those dedicated to public sector excellence.
In past years presentations have been made available to members after the Fair from this section of the Fair website. This year many of the sessions will be interactive and hands-on, therefore presentations may not capture the full nature of the learning opportunity.
